Act without Expectation

"Seek Respect,  not attention, it lasts longer"... unknown.

Walking down the street, with a smile and greeting everyone is so beautiful. Why do we wait for the other person to smile and greet us? Why can't  we be the first to smile and greet? I often wonder.
Some where deep inside us we all want this special treatment to be given to us. We all want fame and recognition, somewhere deep inside there is this inner child which needs love and affection. Somewhere if i do the analysis of my own writing above, we need attention and feel great when someone is nice and polite to us. Then how come we wait for this treatment to be given to us, not understanding that the same way the person in front of us wants to be treated?

A very wise person has said that "treat people, the way you want to be treated". And i laugh at people who try to outsmart everyone around and then scream murder if someone outsmarts them.
Well in what i have seen around me so far... such is life!! We have huge expectations from everyone around us and in return many times we fall short of others person's expectation from us.

Simple things become complicated when we expect too much.

Motivate Me !

I Can. I will. End of Story.

Sounds easy, but for many, its difficult to self motivate. The reason's are many: lack of confidence, lack of skills, lack of positive attitude, fear of entering an unknown territory, scared of losing, not upto the challenge, procrastination ... i can go on with this list. Motivating people has become a huge business in world today. Many companies are coaching people to cope up with challenges faced in professional and personal life.
The competition is fierce in corporate world, and the one's who are ahead in reinventing themselves are finding more opportunities than their colleagues. This leads to demotivation among people who are left behind. Stress and depression are random and like a virus effecting many.
Surprisingly, people need motivation for their fitness too! Not realising taking care of their body should be their first priority as it's the only place they have to live.
My question, were we always this lazy in our life?
Lazy not to learn new skills, increase our knowledge, discipline ourselves, play some sports and be fit?
Focus and discipline two key ingredients for our motivation, seem to be missing from our daily life. Can a motivation coach bring these changes with a one day or 2 day workshop? I remember in management lesson 21/90 rule. 21 days to build a habit and 90 days to convert that into a lifestyle. This needs focus and discipline and if that is missing then how will an individual convert this habit into a lifestyle. Are companies willing to spend 21 days of motivation coaching for their employees?
There are so many motivation quotes, that often i am lost in their meaning.
My all time favourite quote and my mantra has been " The only person you should try to be better than, is the person you were yesterday".
Simple questions which can be checklist ; What do i want in life? What drives me? Am i constantly improving myself? Am i willing to take the next challenge? Am i passionate about my work? What is my next goal? What new skills i require? Am i happy with my fitness level?
Dreams and success go hand in hand. Every person dreams of creating or working on something. When your dream gets fulfilled, one cannot retire. You go find and pursue a new dream. This is the circle of life which keeps us young and creative.
Sometimes its hard to find Motivation. Sometimes Motivation will find you.

IQ + EQ = Common Sense?

Emotional intelligence is the X factor for success. (unknown quote)

Intelligence is not found in books, neither is it something which can be inherited. We all have our quirks and the most transferable of this is the superiority complex which many nurture.
Gone are the days where organisations were run by rule books and hierarchy. In todays world accepting our limits and giving respect to our co-workers is how successful organisations are flourishing.
Success a 7 letter word has many connotations in today's scenario . This dwells when people are happy , involved, respected, engaged, satisfied, process driven and highly paid. Many companies are now hiring mid level mangers and executives not as per the skill set but the attitude to learn and evolve as a manager/ leader in the organisation. IQ its an added advantage.
When did emotions come in play in the logical, cut throat and ruthless capital world.
I love this line in Freakonomics " Emotion is the enemy of rational argument".
Biased decisions don't go a long way at work, neither do biased promotions or hires work. So if these decisions were made by emotion driven managers, how well do they cope with Emotional Intelligence?
I was asked once if common sense and intelligence were partners in crime. Well to answer this question one needs to understand what does common sense and intelligence have in common. Ideally when a human is above average in understanding is known as being intelligent and when the same human uses his/ her intelligence for the better good of society by being an example of social and civic values probably should be termed common sense. I am not sure of this definition but to most common sense does not need high IQ.
But these days my favourite trending quote is "Common sense has nothing to do with intelligence."
There are lots of intelligent people out there with no common sense at all". We are badgering people with the hindsight of no common sense. Yet i cannot understand the definition of common sense more than the next person.

Till death do us part

"The bad news is Nothing lasts forever
The good news is Nothing lasts forever"
Everything is temporary, even our Emotions.

Every thing we do, we take it for granted that its forever, every breath we take we feel we will live forever. We make plans , years ahead with the thought of living forever. Our very existence is based on the idea that we live and everything is there for us forever.
For a minute, a day is too much for many people , but just for the moment if we believe that this is my moment ... what choice will you make?
Will it be planning a secure job, building your business, planning a family or a big house or maybe the new car or latest gadgets or maybe a vacation to tick off the bucket list. There is so much we want to do in this one minute and before we realise the minute is over.
Now rewind back and see have we been aspiring or really living our life. I am not sure how many can be honest with themselves but if we cannot make a choice for a moment, then our forever life is too long and why make a choice when we have forever.
Death is the only constant , change happens and if we don't change we don't survive. A simple rule which we have twisted to make it very motivational with changes which occur in our life. No two hands or people are same, yet we want to be sociable, likeable and engaging in our relationships. Our control freak streak surfs up every now and then. But then with centuries of conditioning and control we have developed different personalities and traits. Predominantly people like to follow and be told what to do. Most of us want others to believe in us and give us their approval. The sociable and likeable aspect of our personality cannot let us be ourselves. The idea of being outcast is not what we would like to be typecast as.
Free will really? Think before you think we have free will. Its a beautiful concept sold to us to "Feel good" about our decisions and ourselves.
The young adults are moving towards a more open and carefree lifestyle. They have somehow grasped the meaning of Nothing lasts forever and i do hope to see a change in mindset which is troubling many.
New age concept of marriage is diminishing, young adults want more from their life than getting married and having a family. Are we moving from our age old thinking of settling down? Our ancient ancestors were hunters, moving from one place to another. Then came the agricultural revolution and settlements happened. From here we went on to industrial revolution, now what are are talking about.
We talk about hackers, hacking our bank accounts, credit card details, emails, our phones, our systems etc etc... new age now has big data analysis which is hacking humans. Imagine a machine knowing more about us than we know about ourselves. Then one-day keeping in mind our patterns of making decisions; an idea or thought is put in front of us, and we make a decision. Is this our free will or were we coerced towards making this decision . I guess we will never know the answer to this.
Human resilience is immense , and so is our stupidity. Our ego refuses to see what is real as we want to live in our own reality. Maybe tomorrow will bring in a new civilisation and many of us will watch the changes from sidelines as we constantly keep repeating change is the only constant and this too shall pass. Will this new revolution of rise of new civilisation just pass or will we who refuse to see the major changes happening around not want to see the objective reality?
Future no one knows, no one knows what is planned but the one's who see it objectively are preparing for the change.
Maybe life is all about the opportunities and missed chances one gets.

Let me tell you a story!!

Recently i read an amazing book, Homo Deus Brief history of tomorrow , my mind kept thinking; why do we consider ourselves better than the rest of mammals on this planet. Why we can't see the truth and live in objective reality.
Our evolution is based on our imagination and how we have developed stories which take us from objective reality to fictional reality.
The greatest gift, we have is art of story telling. A story which is believed collectively by humans to live in a reality which again is created by us. Sounds scary!!! but then thats who we are.
Many believe that we are the superior race, many also believe that we have a purpose in our life. We are the rulers of Planet Earth. Other animals are barely existing as we have consciousness while others don't.

Maybe the truth is not what we have repeatedly believed in. Maybe we are scared of changes which will come if we start living objectively. Maybe the "Elite" who are ruling the planet don't want others to see through the lies woven through centuries.

Its always good to go back to basics when we cannot understand what is happening around us. The fast pace with which this world is changing and developing is scary for many.

We all know Artificial intelligence is here to stay. Our development to become Humanoids is on the curve. What ever we do, we cannot stop this change. Our mental health is depleting rapidly as we are using more and more gadgets. We are not in tune with ourselves as our senses are more dormant than they were 30 years ago.

We are evolving much faster than we did in last thousands of years. Some call this progress in technology, while some call it doomsday. But the reality is we are evolving and if we are smart and let go of our fear and stupidity we might just see the dawn of new civilisation.
Our story telling ability, made us believe in religion and community life. This solves the purpose of all living in harmony. Superstition became the cultures backbone to heard humans like sheep. Our fear about everything made us believe in what was told to us. No one wants to be an odd sheep, therefore all move together as one.

We created money for trade, what surprises me is in this world where people are fighting for whose religion is better even in 21st century, we have no objection for money being used globally by all. We have no objection and nor do we want to know which religion person is giving money to us for trade. So does this imply that various man made god are redundant and the new god of today is money?
Which obviously we all believe in.
There is no fight that US $ is better than Euro or Dinars or Rupees etc etc. Money is universally accepted in any currency.

We are the greatest story tellers, our life is one big story. From the day we are born, a story is born. Sometimes i feel we are like an onion, we have layers on us which save us from reality and our lies which we repeat everyday hardens our story. As you peel the layers of onion, our eyes water. similarly if we try to understand our life built on lies and try to know the truth the pain will be unbearable and will get tears in our eyes.

Questions raised in Homo Deus, make me wonder what is our tomorrow?

What will happen to democracy when Google and Facebook come to know our likes and our political preferences better than we know them ourselves?
What will happen to the welfare state when computers push humans out of the job market and create a massive new “useless class”?
How might Islam handle genetic engineering?
Will Silicon Valley end up producing new religions, rather than just novel gadgets?

Selfish DNA

Why are human's selfish?
Is it our need to be in control, or it is our need for immortality which leads to our genetic mutation of being selfish .
This theory is explained beautifully by Richard Dawkins in his book "The Selfish Gene". Dawkins uses the term "selfish gene" as a way of expressing the gene - centred view of evolution as opposed to the views focussed on the organism and the group. From the gene- centred view, it follows that the more two individuals are genetically related, the more sense ( at the level of the genes) it makes for them to behave selflessly with each other.  A lineage is expected to evolve to maximise its inclusive fitness - the number of copies of its genes passed on globally (rather than by a particular individual). As a result, population will tend towards an evolutionary stable strategy. The book also coins the term meme for a unit of human cultural evolution analogous to the gene, suggesting that such " selfish"  replication may also model human culture, in a different sense.

In other words " Birds of same feather flock together"

As rightly said, people don't join a company they join the people working in that company. It's the leader who people join, if they feel they have the same view points. Even companies look for people with right attitude and ability to learn. We all want to make copies of what we believe in. A cheater will always find cheaters around , as this is what will make the cheater comfortable. Similarly a control freak will always try to find submissive people around to be in control. Positive attitude will always pull leaders, mavericks and adaptors, while negative will pull adaptors and disruptors. Such is our DNA.

We as a race are destructive, self centred and very selfish. Now the discussion point can be to blame it on our genes. But then if we look at each of us as individuals we do see the residue of our parents, grandparents and peers who we look up to. We adapt as per our environment and social pressures. But then don't we also say that there is good in everyone?

The term "Selfish DNA" is a term for sequences of DNA that have two distinct properties: The DNA sequence spreads forming additional copies of itself within the genome: and, it makes no specific contribution to its reproductive success of its host organism.

Rightly, as selfish beings bring nothing to this world other than there own agenda. They can be termed as parasites or people with no distinctive future than their own betterment. Without realising that there is nothing a human can do without taking care of their environment.

If not today, but in very near future, we humans will have to evolve from this. No amount of money can buy us fresh water, fresh air and a green and stable environment. We for our hunger have built animal farms, we are the BUTCHERS of treating every living organism as shit. We have created war, we have created man made religions to control humans, we have created everything toxic on this planet.

Maybe someday, our hunger for money will make us realise when there is no food left on this planet, paper is not what we can eat. Will we start eating humans? As our numbers are huge and as humans we don't even treat other humans with respect.

If we want a change, then we need to change drastically. We do need to change our outlook of capitalism and religion, we do need to understand that we are not top of the food chain, we are just like other living organisms.

We do need to understand that immortality is in our actions not by longevity of our life.

So what evolution can we look ahead?

Would you like you? if you met you?

The most important trip you might make in your life is meeting yourself.
A question we ask ourself " Who am I?" Then we try to dissect this question with multiple other questions. The end result is still we asking this question, "Who am I?"
Coming to terms with who we are is a journey and we try avoid taking this all our life. Being You has nothing do to with what we have achieved, what we have become, what our status is. Being You in facing our demons and accepting you.
We talk about forgiveness, we talk about letting go, we talk about acceptance; we actually talk about a lot in our life, yet we choose to avoid being who we are.
Its an old trait which we all developed while growing up. Expectations, peer pressure, what is one going to do with their life, stable job, getting married, taking care of other people needs and most important living a life which is expected.
Its all about expectations and letting go of who you are to be Accepted.
When i first started meditating, i had experiences which were amazing. The feeling of being out of one's body and seeing the world with a new perspective. Well it was a new perspective for me as my conditioning was different. But then i realised, what i was experiencing is what i really am. The mask of being in control of every situation seemed mundane, the time bound slave for deadlines was laughing looking at my mundane existence. It all sounds very fancy, but then one cannot live on bliss, fresh air and love. The survival mode always kicks in and gets you back to the real ( or should i say the artificial ) world which we have created.
Then i realised a balance was necessary between my new found freedom and the old slave mentality. It's a tussle which we still have between Me and world. But i know that the Me is stronger and willing to accept any consequence to be Me.
At first, i was confused when i met myself. The child in me is always at peace, contradictory to the world me. The inner Me believes in nothing, as i am everything, contradictory to the world me who has strict principles, there is a right and wrong and ego lives in abundance. Then i realised that i do have a very dark side to inner Me. There is an energy which is powerful, potent and no ones's friend other than what i believe in, exiting within me. I was scared initially, as the Inner Me was nothing like what the world me was. The world me is caring, clinging, scared, pretentious, jealous, fearful  and everything what we become to survive. The inner Me was nothing of this. Fear has no place, nothing is forever and only constant is death. To change this outlook and accept who i am was difficult.
I realised as i was looking more inside and finding myself, i was becoming more distant from everything. Suddenly nothing was important anymore than to do what i needed to get done. All of a sudden i felt like an outsider amongst family and friends. As i did not feel the same intensity of emotions as others. But then i realised that the intensity had increased more than before but the only emotion which existed inside me was only love. Other emotions had receded and i was devoid of many such emotions which had plagued me for a long time.
I could openly say my mind not bothering for any consequences. if the person in front did not like what i said... too bad! i frankly was not bothered. The conditioning and the masks which i had worn for so many years were changing. One by one the masks were peeling and the real Me was emerging. My perspective towards people, world, work , personal was all changing. The relationships were more meaningful and open than before.
This change scared me, but then i realised we all live with aspirations and desires all our life. The moments pass away, we never get to do what we really want to do or say, as we are scared of losing relations or being declared outcast.
Suddenly after meeting Me i was liberated and free from any such fears, wants or desires. I aspire to be who i am, i desire to be what i want to do, being fearless makes me limitless. I finally came home to myself.
I was scared when i started the journey within but today i am happy that I Met Me.
It made me realise the meaning of freedom which we all talk about but definitely no one really can say what freedom means. Its about being YOU, the real freedom in this world.
I ask you this today, "Would you like you? if you met you?
Take a journey within!

To SIN is to live

The Sin Question : What is SIN?
Is it what i believe should not be done, or is it what has been taught to us in our scriptures, written by humans to make sheep out of us humans? Counting other people's sins, does not make us Saints.

As rightly said by Oscar Wilde, Every saint has a past and every sinner has a future.
Show me a person who has not sinned, tell me a story of someone who lived by the virtues set by us humans. All folklore is what we will find.
I am not an atheist , as this will lead to question of belief or contradiction. I believe in a higher power / energy which is around us. Which makes us and which we feel moving within us. Man,  made religion and god to satisfy his / her need of existence. As matter requires positively charged protons, neutral neutrons and negatively charged electrons, similarly us humans require these three facets of energy to live life. Our positive energy heals, is compassionate, hopeful and loving while our negative energy is aggressive, assertive and full of lessons from our failures and to balance both we need to have an open neutral mindset.
If we are similar to energy around us then one question has baffled me throughout my life : Why do billions of people on this planet have a similar prayer , " Please forgive me god, for i have sinned"? Are we not suppose to be the image of God? Are we not the chosen one as again taught since young age.  Energy does not understand the concept of Sin, both positive and negative make energy move but our concept of god believes in Sin and we need forgiveness if we deviate from man made instructions.
The Right & Wrong Question : What is Right and wrong? To err is human, i have read it many times and also if I made a mistake, i have shrugged my shoulders and said this. Why have we defined everything in black in white with rules and counter rules for humans. Have you ever thought no two hands are same, then how is it possible that what one believes to be right , needs to be right for the other person too! Freedom of choice and freedom to live is defined by set of rules, its like a gigantic classroom where we all have been told that we are adults, we have the right to choose, but if we deviate from the options given to us then its a sin.
If an old rich man marries a girl old enough to be his daughter or granddaughter, the society speaks behind his back but never on his face. So its ok as the person is rich and off course the girl is a gold digger. Well lovely concept and rationalisation of this. Not realising the old man is taking advantage of needs and dreams of the young girl. So this is not a Sin in many people's eyes but something to gossip about. Similarly if a woman or a man decides to have a relationship outside their marriage, because of whatever reasons, this is defined as Sin. Now we are either changing or defining our own concept of right and wrong as Sin.
Even funny is people who have not experienced any emotions talk about renouncing. One can choose to be celibate after one has been active sexually, but a person who has no inclination or idea of being sexual cannot ask people to be celibate in name of religion or define it as Sin. One can choose to give up all material comforts , after one has been living in these comforts. One can choose to say Money means nothing to me, after one has made enough to live a life time. How can someone who has never seen violence or has not been involved in it talk about Non - Violence. The best example of this is King Ashoka, the most ferocious warrior king who after seeing hundreds of thousands of Kalinga people massacred for his dream to expand his kingdom , became a buddhist and spread the word of non violence throughout the country and abroad. To renounce does not mean that one has not sinned, neither does it mean that one is closer to the god created by man.
Life needs to be lived, by set of rules which an individual feels comfortable with, not put as golden rules or one has sinned. Every one in this world is a Sinner , so who is anyone to judge anyone.

My only conclusion to Sin question is that , In today's world we have Sinner's judging Sinner's to sinning differently.

Light Shines in Darkness

"Light does not come from light, but from Darkness" beautifully said by Mircea Eliade.

As it is said, all stars are born in darkness and all darkness dies in the light. Light and darkness two sides of the same coin or is it that within light resides darkness and vice versa?
We all look for goodness within us and each other why? Is good the perception we get from bad?
Then why are we so scared of darkness and most important why do we hide or shy away from our own dark side?

We have grown up with the concept that darkness is evil and light is good. Strangely its in the darkest sky we see the brightest star.

We all know that at a given time there is always darkness over the planet. The planet is always half light and half dark and so are we. There is a dark side to each of us. The question is how many of us have come to terms with our own dark side and how many have buried it deep inside? Some try to be too good while some let the darkness take over them completely.

Light and dark are two completely different things but we need both of them. For too much light burns us and while in darkness we cannot see. But together we have shade. Thats the nature of us beings. Once we come to terms with our both sides we balance our life accordingly. We need both in small doses to live.

Many years ago, during meditation i got very sacred. My subconscious had risen my dark side and i was scared and sweaty. What i felt and experienced is beyond my understanding. I tried my best to bury it deep down me as i felt pure evil rising inside me. That was my understanding at that time. Till the time i met my teacher who told me to meditate further on these fears and dark side of mine. Acceptance is the only way to balance light and dark. It has taken me more than a decade to balance both. Darkness in me is my resilience , assertiveness with no fear which i require for my existence, while the light in me is compassionate and kindness to people. I need both. We have many faces of darkness and its for us to channel these thoughts and power to better use.

Maybe when human beings started imagining life, as this is our biggest gift for our evolution "Imagination". We imagined light being pure while dark being evil. Maybe through this mindset we also made social and racial boundaries. I am not a professor of evolution or imagination but this seems the most logical concept to my understanding. We learnt quickly that if we showcase our dark thoughts openly, we will be shunned from society, therefore our deepest dark secrets got buried within our subconscious and our mind was free to imagine all sorts of things and control us.

Balance of Light and Dark gives "Soul" control over our thoughts. That makes imagination futile many times and shades of grey vanish slowly as imagination gives wings to shades of grey in our thinking. I have written many times right and wrong is in our mind and what perceptions have been mapped on our mind.

So if we have both sides within us, what does it say about us? We are not holy, neither we are evil.... we are humans and we live life through our mistakes. We've all got both Light and dark side within us. What matters is the part we choose to act upon.

As human's the most powerful thought we have is hope. And as many scholars and motivation guru's repeatedly have said that "In midst of darkness, the light persist". When we feel desperate, frustrated, and feel no way out, we have all heard this one saying repeatedly " There is light at the end of the dark tunnel". That light is within us. When we feel our dark side over powering our thoughts we focus back on our light side. That's what's known as balancing both. We have to learn to live with them . Just like Lunar power cannot live without solar power similarly we cannot live without these two sides.

There is a beautiful quote by Rick Beneteau " It's rather easy to shine in the light, but to glow in the dark.. that's mastery!

It is usually in our darkest times when we challenge our limits, when we transform to survive and when we create hope for others.

Life gives birth to both light and darkness, its for us to choose and act upon.

Boundaries ....What defines us?

We are all in the image of the God we worship. This is what we have all been told since the day we are born. Therefore at birth my religion, faith and country is decided.
My question, Is my boundary; my country or my religion? My identity is my country or my religion? My faith I would believe will include my character too? This confuses me, what is my boundary and my identity?
To me being human and living peacefully anywhere is this world would be my identity and boundary. But then many would choose to disagree with me on this. As religion and nationality is what defines us in judging other people.
But just think for a minute what defines us?
Let's do a test. In a room there are people from all over the world, they speak different languages and practice different religion. They all do know sign language too. There are two conditions for them to interact with each other. They cannot reveal their country of origin or religion. They must communicate via sign language. What do you think would be the outcome?
If we remove language, country and religion will they all be the same? Being human what we are suppose to be?
I don't know as I have not done this test but would love just to understand what is it that defines us in boundaries.
Two years ago, I had an amazing experience which prompted me to write this blog. I was sitting at a cultural festival of Thailand in Bülach, Switzerland. We were having a great evening and I realised there was a woman starting at me. She looked very familiar and I thought she too found me familiar and was trying to figure out if she knew me. After 2 hours, she finally walks up to me and asks me if I am Brazilian? As she is from Brazil and she thinks I am from her country. Much to her disappointment I had to tell her no I am not from Brazil. She apologised and left. I saw the disappointment on her face and voice. This made me thinking, here is the woman married to a Swiss with a very sweet little girl in Bülach and was looking for a familiar face from her country.
What is it about us, we travel the world, settle somewhere else but then somewhere we get home sick. I mean we can make a home anywhere in this world but somehow we miss our country of origin. We miss our culture, talking in our language, eating our food etc etc. Is this our boundaries and identity? Our country?
Then why have we divided ourselves based on religion?
Our religion other than love and being human can it be anything else? Man made power houses are defining us today. We don't even know our own identity than what we want.
Think and do let me know what defines you? What is your identity?

The Winning Toss

When faced with two choices, simply toss a coin. it works not because it settles the question for you, but because in that brief moment when the coin is in the air, you suddenly know what you are hoping for.
The split second decision has changed many people and companies.
How many of us make decisions by tossing the coin? No one is going to judge you, neither any one will call you frivolous because most of us do take risks and make decisions with that gutt instinct . But then how many live to agree that the decision was made in that moment?
People say "Opportunity knocks very quietly" or "Opportunity does not come twice" or "Other name for opportunity is hard work" i can go on writing these lines by which we have termed split second decision into opportunity. We get these opportunites on daily basis, how many live in the moment to realise these opportunities  which can change our decisions and way of life?
Our mind wants to rule, be the master, power driven and obviously we, over time become slaves. Its strange when one watches people, you can actually see strength of mind over soul. Listless eyes, head bowed down , lost in thoughts or now days checking messages on phone , no smile , no interaction with fellow beings and we all head to work. Looks more like robotic movements to me. Its sad we are also making our children our split images. There was a time when children used to be out playing, full of life but now a days they are glued to their computer, tv, play station name it all technology savvy children but no interaction with the world.
The fun of interacting with fellow beings, sharing ideas, smiling and greeting used to be our way of life, what changed all this. Now a days the coin is not tossed but information is gathered via google to assimilate all options and then come to a decision. What happened to the risk takers? I am glad atleast in certain sports we have still got the coin toss to decide the beginning of the game.
I am old school, my decision making is not via google but by talking to people. After i have gathered all information, i pull out my lucky coin , always stays in my wallet, and most of my life decision were made tossing it. Strangely in that brief moment when the coin is up in the air my foggy mind becomes clear and i know what i want and even more strangely some how the coin and me are connected and the winning toss happens. I will say 8 out of 10 times we have thought the same in the split second and the 2 times i have let go of the choice in front of me has been good for me in long run. We all live our choices and bear the consequences of our choices.
Meditation comes in many forms, its always that split second where our soul surfaces and we can see multi dimensions. It's the meditative mind which can let go, its the soul which shows us the way and it takes courage to be who we need to be. Our patterns and mindset become fixed with time. The creation of man, TIME has all in its grip. Change can happen any where, any time. Yet we choose to believe differently.
My famous line while tossing the coin is " Heads i win, tails you loose"
Its all about perspective and in the end what matters is that you followed your heart.
Let the game of life begin...
