To SIN is to live

The Sin Question : What is SIN?
Is it what i believe should not be done, or is it what has been taught to us in our scriptures, written by humans to make sheep out of us humans? Counting other people's sins, does not make us Saints.

As rightly said by Oscar Wilde, Every saint has a past and every sinner has a future.
Show me a person who has not sinned, tell me a story of someone who lived by the virtues set by us humans. All folklore is what we will find.
I am not an atheist , as this will lead to question of belief or contradiction. I believe in a higher power / energy which is around us. Which makes us and which we feel moving within us. Man,  made religion and god to satisfy his / her need of existence. As matter requires positively charged protons, neutral neutrons and negatively charged electrons, similarly us humans require these three facets of energy to live life. Our positive energy heals, is compassionate, hopeful and loving while our negative energy is aggressive, assertive and full of lessons from our failures and to balance both we need to have an open neutral mindset.
If we are similar to energy around us then one question has baffled me throughout my life : Why do billions of people on this planet have a similar prayer , " Please forgive me god, for i have sinned"? Are we not suppose to be the image of God? Are we not the chosen one as again taught since young age.  Energy does not understand the concept of Sin, both positive and negative make energy move but our concept of god believes in Sin and we need forgiveness if we deviate from man made instructions.
The Right & Wrong Question : What is Right and wrong? To err is human, i have read it many times and also if I made a mistake, i have shrugged my shoulders and said this. Why have we defined everything in black in white with rules and counter rules for humans. Have you ever thought no two hands are same, then how is it possible that what one believes to be right , needs to be right for the other person too! Freedom of choice and freedom to live is defined by set of rules, its like a gigantic classroom where we all have been told that we are adults, we have the right to choose, but if we deviate from the options given to us then its a sin.
If an old rich man marries a girl old enough to be his daughter or granddaughter, the society speaks behind his back but never on his face. So its ok as the person is rich and off course the girl is a gold digger. Well lovely concept and rationalisation of this. Not realising the old man is taking advantage of needs and dreams of the young girl. So this is not a Sin in many people's eyes but something to gossip about. Similarly if a woman or a man decides to have a relationship outside their marriage, because of whatever reasons, this is defined as Sin. Now we are either changing or defining our own concept of right and wrong as Sin.
Even funny is people who have not experienced any emotions talk about renouncing. One can choose to be celibate after one has been active sexually, but a person who has no inclination or idea of being sexual cannot ask people to be celibate in name of religion or define it as Sin. One can choose to give up all material comforts , after one has been living in these comforts. One can choose to say Money means nothing to me, after one has made enough to live a life time. How can someone who has never seen violence or has not been involved in it talk about Non - Violence. The best example of this is King Ashoka, the most ferocious warrior king who after seeing hundreds of thousands of Kalinga people massacred for his dream to expand his kingdom , became a buddhist and spread the word of non violence throughout the country and abroad. To renounce does not mean that one has not sinned, neither does it mean that one is closer to the god created by man.
Life needs to be lived, by set of rules which an individual feels comfortable with, not put as golden rules or one has sinned. Every one in this world is a Sinner , so who is anyone to judge anyone.

My only conclusion to Sin question is that , In today's world we have Sinner's judging Sinner's to sinning differently.
