Game of Chance

The best way to win at game of chance is to remove chance from the equation.

This year has been unique 2020, to me this year sound more like a game of chance . We all are given a dice to roll and have a 50% chance of winning or loosing. A virus which is randomly choosing its victims, or its planned i don't know. Companies which have made huge profits all through decades suddenly going bankrupt? Automation which was suppose to be next level is already in place thanks to this pandemic and many people becoming jobless and frustrated with this situation. To make things worse worldwide there seems to be tension and violence erupting with so many issues arising.

This brings me to one question which has baffled me always, When we have no where to go , Why do we Humans resort to violence?

Through out our history mankind has lived with violence. This makes me ask myself why do we project such violence and what pleasure do we drive from this? Is it that we are savages who have cloaked our violent desires under the non- violence and every now and then the animal surfaces within.

It's disheartening to see how life is getting wasted and we have nothing but words to console us. We do peace talks, we talk about how life matters but in the end are we changing for ourselves or subjected to a purpose with the euphoria hitting us? This is the question i keep asking myself. 

Why do we have so much of animosity and why are we subjective to emotional bursts of anger? Why is our DNA so emotional and violent? or have we been conditioned in such a manner? Questions with no answers yet we choose to be objective to something which has no meaning or purpose.

In 21st century it's shame on humanity to think about a particular sect of lives matter. To me all lives matter. So we have become diplomatic and keep away from such issues as they are everywhere. But now i see people being violent as frustration is setting in. Therefore this makes me wonder, we are violent when we are frustrated, jobless with no purpose and yet we choose to believe in peace when things are good for us. This is us and how ever hard we try to change ourselves our core competence of being violent stays.

War makes few rich and powerful, the one's who actually fight it either become martyrs or poor, very few are given the opportunity to join the ranks of the rich to enjoy. Still in name of nationalism and fascism we fight these wars. Emotional Violent DNA abused at its best. I personally have never seen any elected leader of a country standing in the front lines of this war other than giving big speeches. So we always get played and yet like fools we let these politicians play us for their agenda. 

Our need to be powerful, to feel superior and our need to feel special is something which pulls us to create societies which are conducive for our purpose of survival. Why did we even accept society rules in first place? To make people adhere to such laws violence was the key used to break down our resilience to be free and we created monsters who chose to rule us and create islands in our society with no bridges for any to cross. Is this what we thought was our Utopia? or was this the Utopia of few who felt privileged? Guess we will never know why this all started but it's time for the game of chance to be prevalent and let it take its own path. 

This year 2020 as i said earlier is unique, its breaking our old norms, its challenging us in ways we never thought our societies or our way of life would be challenged , yet why do i feel that this orchestrated pandemic is turning the tide still towards a few to make money while rest of the world is twirling towards an abyss which we have no clue about? Why are we letting go of our privacy in the name of this pandemic? Why are we letting the surveillance state take over? Why are we so disjointed in this?

Together we can make tide turn but violence and age old conditioning is not the key. Fear our oldest enemy and our oldest tool to make societies bend and the human will to be conditioned is right now used to its full potential and we yet again are getting played. Maybe we will never see the bigger picture because we are not meant to but we can transform our thinking to look at the bigger picture if we choose to. 

Violent DNA will get us nowhere, neither waiting for some miracle to happen, will work for us. We are the miracle and we make our choices in our life to make it happen.
